The First EdenSpark Jam Is Done — and This Is Just the Beginning
The first monthly jam has come to an end — now it's time to play your fellow creators' work, share your impressions, and get ready for the next one. We'll announce the jam results and the winners on May 26.
The first EdenSpark Jam on the theme of "Transformation" is officially complete. 11 games were submitted to the jam page — thank you to everyone who made it all the way through, and to those who tried but didn't quite make it in time: your experience matters to us just as much.
Now comes the most interesting part.
Play and Rate
All submitted games are available on EdenSpark and on the jam page on itch.io. If you took part in the jam, take some time to try out the other teams' games and rate them. It's not just a friendly gesture toward your fellow creators — it directly shapes the Community Choice ($1,000) prize, which is decided by a vote of jam participants.
Every rating matters. Eleven games is something you can comfortably play through over a couple of evenings, and a view from inside the community is the most valuable feedback a creator can get.
The EdenSpark team is also playing through the submissions and selecting winners in the Best Game ($4,000) categories.
Share Your Impressions
The first jam was also a big experiment for us. Some things definitely worked, others definitely didn't, and we'd really like to hear your honest feedback while your impressions are still fresh.
To make it easier, we've put together a short survey — it takes 2–3 minutes, and all answers are anonymous:
If surveys aren't your thing, message us directly on Discord or Telegram. Text, screenshots, memes — whatever works for you. Tell us:
- What you liked and what frustrated you about the EdenSpark platform
- What was missing in the documentation, tools, or templates
- What was convenient or awkward in how the jam itself was organized
- What we could do to help you out next time
The more you share, the better. Every piece of feedback directly shapes how we plan the next jam and where we steer the platform's development.
What's Next
The next jam starts on June 1. We'll announce the theme at the beginning of the month — as always, on Discord and Telegram, where you'll also find all the details. Same prize pool — $5,000 per month, plus a chance to make the shortlist for the grand finale with top prizes up to $50,000.
If you've been eyeing EdenSpark but didn't make it into the first jam — you have a couple of weeks to download the platform, work through the documentation, and put together a team. And if you've already taken part — now you know how everything works, and the second run almost always comes out easier and more interesting than the first.
Thank you for being with us through the first jam. None of this would have happened without you.
